A Book Divider (Book 2) for the ~Hp-Art-Project. At first I thought, obviously, of Harry with the sword of Gryffindor and blablabla, but then I decided on a more subtle scene - the moment when Harry first interacts with Tom Riddle's Diary, which we later learn is not only a preserved memory, but also a Horcrux.

I tried something new here, and have no idea if it actually works - I coloured my pencil drawing in Photoshop. The drawing was conceived as a colour piece from the start. I tried to keep the colours in the room warm and red, and have only the ink, Harry's eyes (and as it turned out, his jumper) in green, playing on the Slytherin vs Gryffindor theme that runs through Chamber of Secrets.

In the background I tried to incorporate the showdown scene, by having a fiery bird clutching a sword embroidered on Harry's bed-curtains, in coincidentally close proximity to a hat, as well as a sock. The other stuff just symbolizes that here be messy boys.
