From 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' by J K Rowling.
On his way to face his death, Harry uses the Resurrection Stone to recall his deceased loved ones. They comfort him, and I THINK (I'm drawing this all from memory, so please forgive deviations from the text) his mother says, "You've been so brave." (Correct me if I'm wrong.) I don't think she actually touches him - she couldn't anyway, I suppose - but I wanted that pride, admiration and comfort to be expressed visually. Isn't that what we all want, when we die - our parents reassuring us we did all right? A3, pencil, given a bit of oomph with Photoshop, as usual. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
