quick drawing before bed time.

EDIT: in the morning light things look different. I uploaded a slightly less manipulated version, the old one was just too dark, in my opinion. That's not to say Harry wouldn't have suffered in his dark little cupboard, but somehow I find it a bit funny and grotesque as well, his being kept in a cupboard under the stairs. It's dreadful enough to make one feel very sorry for Harry, but as readers we all know very quickly he will be let out. In having such a darkened picture I felt I was making him look too forlorn and abused - which he is - but it seemed disproportionate to how well he actually copes, and how light-hearted I find the beginning.

dadurch das (fast) ganz schwarz ist, vermittelt es die richtige stimmung. wenn man das aus der erziehungswissenschaftlichen perspektive beobachtet, müsste harry eigentlich an hospitalismus und deprivation leiden, da er seelisch mehr als vernachlässigt wurde. aber was rede ich, ich habe eh keine ahnung :D

I think this is one of my all time favourites. I love the angles, and the expression on his face. Also, I find it's really hard to set levels when I don't have an immediate light source in mind.
